Do you use latex in your products?
No we do not use latex in our products. All of our masks, filters and head straps have been tested according to ASTM D6499 "Antigenic Latex Protein Testing" to demonstrate that they are acceptable for latex-sensitive individuals.
- Testing results show that our mask, filters and head straps contain 0.6 μg/g (micrograms per gram) of antigenic protein.
- Typically, levels below 50 μg/g are considered safe for most latex-allergic people.
Our products are well below such common safety thresholds, ensuring they are safe for those who have latex sensitivities. It is important to note that the claim of being "latex free" made by many brands actually may go against FDA recommendations on safe labelling practices.
