In 2017, AusAir partnered with The University of Sydney to design the best high-tech filtration mask on the market, the result was a mask unlike any other. The AirFlex was designed to handle high flow rate capacity like an N95 mask but also providing the aesthetic for the modern cityscapes.

It was about equipping the urban explorer with something previously unavailable- robust filtration built inside a fashion accessory.

Optimised for durability and comfort, the washable AirFlex skin is built using AusAir’s in-house composite material to enhance the breathing experience and offer timeless style. The simple switch and click of AusAir’s filter locks result in effortless replacements of the AirFlex filters. Intentional, thoughtful design for your protection.

Built from stainless steel rather than plastic for longevity and timeless aesthetic the AirFlex valves control humidity and moisture release.

When activated, the valves operate as a one-way breathing device. Designed so inhaled air can only enter through the filtration media, removing the finest contaminants and allowing the wearer to breathe with confidence. To protect against moisture build up and regulate humidity, exhaled air is expelled through the valves.

Engage full two-way filtration with block-out technology, protecting the wearer and those around them in any situation. By deactivating the valves, exhaled air is forced through all five layers of filtration.

With multiple sizing and colour options the AirFlex has everyone covered.

Every Airflex mask features adjustable cushioned ear loops so you can get the perfect fit without compromising on comfort. The simple slide and lock mechanism allows adjustment on the go to give your ears a well earned break and experience all day comfort.

A firm yet flexible broad span nose wire and memory nose foam installed on each filter contours around the wearer's face to eliminate leakage, help create that effective seal and reduces the fogging of glasses.
